We can’t believe the school year is almost over! With the conclusion of finals and Senior Week in full swing, we wanted to honor our amazing seniors before sending them off into the real world by presenting them with black and silver honor cords.
Over the past few years, we have been incredibly lucky to share so many experiences with these seniors. We have watched them grow from young, eager singers into seasoned veterans of the stage, taking audiences by storm with their electric presence. They have taught us what it means to be a performer and how to place ourselves into the music by becoming the ultimate role models of musicianship. But they have become more than just fellow members in our group; they have become our family. As we all embarked on the Nor’easter journey, they have encouraged our growth, challenged us to become better humans, and been our number one cheerleaders and support system, whether giving us a pat on the back, a big hug, or a shoulder to lean on.
Jimmy, Jessie, Isaac: we cannot express our gratitude enough. Your wisdom is insightful; your artistry is inspiring; your dedication is admirable; and your leadership will guide us for years to come. Thank you so much for everything you have done for this group and each one of us over the past years. We cannot wait to witness all the wonderful feats you will accomplish in the coming years, but we will miss the energy you brought to this group and we will always cherish the memories we have been able to make together. Thank you for changing our lives; we love you so much.
P.S. We would also like to give a shout-out to our beautiful Anna Livia Mazzoni for being accepted into the London School of Economics. We will miss your beautiful voice and the love you’ve shared with us this past year, but we are so proud of you and excited for all your coming successes as you continue your journey across the pond. We love you!
